Google Base is a place where you can put in all online and offline content that Google will host and make searchable online. When searching through Google Base, attributes you describe an item with will help people find that item.
Steps.
1. Type in to your address bar or click the link: base.google.com
2. You must have a free Google account to use Google Base, so if you don't, you'll need to create one.
3. Once signed in, there will be a blue box to the right of the screen asking you to pick an existing category type or to create your own.
4. Choose one of these and click 'next'. The example I will use for the rest of this wiki is People Profiles.
5. Enter the information it asks for. EX. Gender: Male or Female, Interested in: Sports, Reading, Writing, etc.
6. When you reach "labels", enter keywords that describe your article. If it's about you, enter your name, and some things about you separated by commas. You can have a maximum of ten.
7. In the description, type a description of yourself, etc.
8. "Contact", this is where you will see a coded email. This is so people can contact you without seeing your actual email address. You can also enter a phone number.
9. Item location: If you are doing an "Events and Activities" article, this is where you would put the address of the event. It will come up with a map showing your area.
10. Pictures: you can add up to 10 pictures in .gif, .jpg, .png, or .tif format. If this is about you, you might include a picture of yourself. If you are selling something, include a picture of the product.
11. For some types of articles, there is a time limit to there existence. EX. Events and Activities. This is because once the event is over, why would you need to keep the page up? You can set it to a maximum of 31 days.
12. If there is a web page describing the article, there is a space at the bottom under Contact information where you can put the page link.
13. If you are not finished with the article, click Draft. If you are done, click Publish.
14. You can preview the article to see how it will look by clicking Preview. This does not save the article.
15. Once published you are able to go to your dashboard. This is where you can control which articles stay and go, which articles have been approved, last time they were modified, what type of article, and you can edit already made articles. It will also tell you when the article expires.
16. You can search for already made articles by typing in a search term and clicking "Search Base"

How to Take a Good Picture for a Social Network Site
Ever had trouble getting the right photo for a default?Read this to get the perfect one!
Steps.
1. Get yourself ready! Fix your hair, or keep it messy. However you feel will represent your picture!
2. Get you digital camera or webcam. Most people use those. Disposable cameras are not as efficient. If your digital camera has P-mode, set it to it! P-mode gives you the setting for the best picture.
3. Pick your pose. The best way is to stand in front of a mirror, hold your camera, and click. Make sure the flash is off when you do that, or it will block everything. Do not look straight into the camera as it will make you look weird. Look at the side of the lens, not directly at it!
4. Decide if you want it to be sad. Lay down or go to a corner. Put the camera up high to an angle, and click!
5. Repeat the above steps to get the right picture.
